Tyler Sones was born and raised in Waco, Texas. He received an English degree from the University of North Texas and an MFA in Creative Writing from The Ohio State University. He is the recipient of a 2024 Pushcart Prize, and his writing has appeared in New England Review, The Pinch, Washington Square Review, Beloit Fiction Journal, Potomac Review, SmokeLong Quarterly, Pacifica, Pithead Chapel, Hobart, Barely South, and elsewhere. He is currently on his porch in Austin, Texas, writing a novel.
